I play Rapunzel’s Mam
What’s the first piece of theatre you remember seeing?
Twelfth Night at the RSC with my family when I was about 6.
Who (or what) did you want to be when you were growing up?
A gymnast, then a sports physiotherapist, then an actress.
How long have you been working in theatre, and how did you get started?
8 years. Wonderful drama teachers in school, then Drama School in London, then an MA in Cardiff.
What have you worked on recently?
The Wind in the Willows at the Sherman and a play about Queen Victoria’s childhood.
What are you most looking forward to about The Girl with Incredibly Long Hair?
Turning an original fairy tale story on it’s head and reimagining it for a modern day audience with a feminist twist.
And finally …what would your superpower be?
Either time travel, or the power to heal.
